JONATHAN MCREYNOLDS “LIFE MUSIC”

I think it’s pretty safe to say that the twenty-three year old phenom, music enthusiasts are coming to know as Jonathan McReynolds, are loving every minute of learning about this talented rising star.

Besides McReynolds being a gifted vocalist and budding musician, it goes beyond the obvious. McReynolds displays that he’s got “the goods” on his brand new project “Life Music,” demonstrated as he wrote and produced the entire CD.

To keep this review short and to the point, “Life Music” is a winner, plain and simple! Every song from beginning to end is interesting, complex, yet palatable, inviting, warm, inspirational, creative, introspective, transparent and purposeful.

At the ripe age of 23, McReynolds showcases a maturity and confidence that many artists never capture. What is most noteworthy about this CD is that there is a boldness and familiarity in the tone of the whole project that allows each listener to relate to it personally, without it feeling mundane and typical. McReynolds makes you believe that he believes what he is singing about!

Lastly, “Life Music” is just a fun body of work. It’s truly easy and breezy! This is a CD that you can recommend to your friends, family or co-workers who may not ever pick up a Gospel CD, but if they love good music, they will automatically gravitate to the soothing sounds. And naturally the message of God will eventually penetrate without them even knowing it!

I’m happy to say Jonathan McReynold’s “Life Music” is a keeper. This one is easy, NO CRICKETS for this one of course! If you don’t get this one, it’s your loss!
