NEW MUSIC: CHARLES BUTLER & TRINITY “BETTER”

If the name Charles Butler & Trinity doesn’t instantly ring a bell, don’t worry, I can almost guarantee you’ve heard this 12-member ensemble from the Washington D.C. area.
Charles Butler & Trinity were formed all the way back in ’97 and have been pounding the pavement ever since. Backing everyone from platinum selling artist, Kirk Franklin, to the legendary Karen Clark Sheard, it wasn’t until a few short years ago that Butler & Trinity got their first real taste of national recognition.
In ’09, a newcomer by the name of Earnest Pugh, recorded a song called “Rain On Us,” which shot straight up the charts to #1. And Trinity just happened to be the group that backed Pugh on his top selling hit and things haven’t slowed down since!
Then in 2011, Trinity’s song “You Can Live” was included on the EMI Gospel CD, “Jawn Murray Presents: Untapped,” which featured independent artists that were handpicked by a group of esteemed judges.
Interestingly enough, the same artist who they backed to help him achieve a runaway hit in ‘09, would be the same man that signed them to their first record deal. And that would be none other than Mr. Earnest Pugh himself.
Butler & Trinity signed to EPM Group late last year and now the moment has arrived with the release of their brand new single “Better.”
“Better” is an up-tempo, bouncy, choir groove that simply relays the message that what the Lord has in store for you is so much better than anything or anyone else can offer!
The single “Better” will be available for download tomorrow on iTunes and lookout for their debut CD “Better” when it hits stores and online outlets everywhere on February 26th, 2012!
