The jaw dropping soprano, also known to the Gospel world as, Chrystal Rucker, made a name for herself with exciting renditions like; “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” the Tramline Hawkins classic “Changed” and the adoring 2012 ballad “You Deserve,” which also was the title of of her debut commercially released solo project released in August of 2012.

Now that she has parted ways with her former label, EPM Music Group, Rucker is back and better than ever with a brand new single entitled “Excuse Me,” written by award winning artist, Anthony Brown and produced by Grammy nominated producer, Asaph Ward. Not a bad combo.

The uptempo groove is somewhat different from what fans of Rucker are probably used to, but early reactions seem to be more than positive!

No word on when Rucker’s sophomore project will be released, so in the meantime, take a listen to “Excuse Me,” which is available now on all digital outlets.
